September 23rd. Griboedov represents the most unique USA Techno/House musician: Jeff Samuel! This gifted producer and DJ was born in Cleveland, not far from Detroit and Chicago. So, there is no surprise that these two cities have had a huge impact on his works. As a producer Jeff joins grove, funk and Chicago jazz with melancholic and minimal Detroit techno. In 2001 the music legend Daniel Bell released Jeff’s album on worldwide known “Seventh City” label. Soon Jeff got an offer from such famous labels as Pokerflat, Trapez, Traum, Morris Audio, Spectral Sound, Logistic, Contexterior, Minibar... The worldwide fame Jeff got in 2005 after collaboration with Richie Hawtin, who included Jeff’s track “Lost” in his mix “Transitions”. This mix made a lot of noise among best world clubs, but all music fans associated it with Jeff’s track. On the other hand, Jeff is marvelous DJ. He represents typical US technique and good music compilation. This music is a mix of techno, jazz, fank, minimal, with elements of micro sampling and Detroit «hi tech soul».
